It is an antibiotic in which active ingredients Clavulanic acid and Amoxycillin are present. Clavulanic acid serves a special purpose by inhibiting the enzyme (beta-lactamase). The combination of clavulanic acid and amoxicillin has proven effective in treating many types of infections.
