Introduction to
This drug is considered to be safe for children in treating nausea and vomiting.
It is mainly provided to patients suffering from nausea and vomiting related to radiotherapy, surgery, stomach infections, and chemotherapy.

- It can be administered by a doctor before or after having a meal.
- This should be injected to the child 30 minutes before the procedure to control vomiting associated to chemotherapy.
- Inject it 1 hours before surgery and 1-2 hours before a radiotherapy session to prevent child from vomiting after these procedures.
- If child vomit out the drug within 30 minutes of giving the drug, calm down your child and repeat the dose.

No, Dense is an antiemetic and not a steroid. Dense is a selective 5-HT3 receptor antagonist. It is prescribed for the prevention and treatment of nausea and vomiting which is commonly observed after surgery or due to cancer chemotherapy.
What are the side effects of Dense?
The most common side effects of Dense are constipation, diarrhea, fatigue and headache. However, these are usually not bothersome and resolve on their own after some time. Consult your doctor if these persist or worry you.
