How Floxigat M 75 mg/400 mg Tablet works
Floxigat M 75 mg/400 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Ambroxol and Gatifloxacin which treat respiratory tract infection associated with excessive mucus (phlegm). Ambroxol is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out. Gatifloxacin is an antibiotic which kills bacteria by preventing them from reproducing and repairing themselves. Addition of ambroxol enhances the antibacterial effect of gatifloxacin.
How To Use Floxigat M 75 mg/400 mg Tablet
- Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Floxigat M 75 mg/400 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time. Avoid Floxigat M 75 mg/400 mg Tablet with dairy products such as milk, cheese, curd, butter, paneer and ice cream.
