The main four active ingredients of this drug are Ammonium Chloride, Sodium Citrate, Diphenhydramine and Menthol. Sodium citrate breaks down mucus and facilitates its removal from the respiratory tract. Diphenhydramine relieves allergic symptoms such as sneezing, itching, and runny nose by blocking histamine receptors.
