How Nocold Syrup 60ml works

Chlorpheniramine Maleate works by blocking histamine action that causes allergic symptoms in the body. Paracetamol/Acetaminophen blocks the production of enzymes in the brain that help to block the pain nerve impulses. Phenylephrine refers to the sympathomimetic drug that mimics the epinephrine action or norepinephrine. It binds with alpha-adrenergic receptors selectively that is responsible for the arterial and venous vasoconstriction.

Nocold Syrup is a combination of three medicines: Chlorpheniramine, Paracetamol / Acetaminophen and Phenylephrine. This combination helps to relieve symptoms of cold like runny nose, watery eyes, fever and headache. Chlorpheniramine is an antiallergic. It relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Paracetamol blocks the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that are responsible for pain and fever. Phenylephrine is a decongestant which narrows the small blood vessels and provides relief from congestion or stuffiness in the nose.
