Steri Gargle

Steri Gargle is a combination of two medicines: Benzydamine and Chlorhexidine gluconate which treat mouth infections. Benzydamine is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Chlorhexidine gluconate is an antiseptic and disinfectant. It works by binding to the surface of teeth, inner cheeks and gums. This kills the infectious microorganisms that cause gum disease, tartar and other mouth infections.

• This medicine is for external use only. Use this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Do not dilute the solution. Gargle in the mouth for at least 30 seconds and spit after use.

• It effectively treats throat inflammation, providing relief from pain and swelling, while preventing and treating bacterial infections in the mouth and throat.
