The most common side effects are diarrhea and constipation. These are temporary and usually resolve with time. Contact your doctor straight away if you are at all concerned about any side effects. To overcome constipation, you should add fiber-rich foods in your diet and stay hydrated. Lifestyle modifications like having cold milk and avoiding hot tea, coffee, spicy food or chocolate can help you to get better results.
Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding. You should also tell your doctor if you have any kidney or liver diseases so that your doctor can prescribe a suitable dose for you.
How Titer Suspension works
Titer Suspension is a combination of three medicines: magaldrate, alginic acid and simethicone which relieve acidity, heartburn and stomach ulcers. Magaldrate is an inorganic salt that neutralizes the excess acid in the stomach. Alginic acid forms a thick foam in the stomach which acts as a barrier to reflux (acid going up to the food pipe). Simethicone is an antifoaming medicine which disintegrates gas bubbles and allows easy passage of gas.
