This is a combination topical preparation effective in treatment of skin infections

It shows its activity by reducing inflammatory symptoms like redness, swelling, and itching

How Trioderm Plus Cream 5gm works

This pharmaceutical preparation has been prepared by combining five active ingredients named Clotrimazole, Neomycin, and Fluocinolone acetonide. Neomycin is an antibiotic that inhibits the growth of bacteria by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins that are necessary for bacteria to perform vital functions. Clotrimazole is an active constituent acts by inhibiting ergosterol synthesis (a crucial component in formation of cell membrane by fungus). This disturbance leads to increase the permeability of cell membrane due to which components present inside membrane start leaking out and ultimately cause cell death and infection resolution. Fluocinolone acetonide is a steroid blocks the production of certain chemical messengers like prostaglandin responsible to cause swelling, redness and itching to the skin. Th blockage of this chemical messenger provide relief from such symptoms.

How To Use Trioderm Plus Cream 5gm

  • This medicine is used only externally
  • Strictly follow the dose and duration advised by the doctor without missing the dose
  • Read the label carefully before using the medicine
  • Before applying the medicine, wash the affected area with clean water and then dry it
  • After applying the medicine, wash your hands with clean water only if there is no infection on the hands
