VAS GTN 2.6mg TABLET is a vasodilator used for heart failure, high blood pressure (hypertension), anal fissures, and painful periods, and to treat and prevent chest pain caused by decreased blood flow to the heart (angina).
- It works by relaxing the blood vessels and increasing the supply of blood and oxygen to the heart while reducing its workload.
- Place the tablet under the tongue or between the cheek and gum, and let it dissolve.
- Do not eat, drink, smoke, or use chewing tobacco while a tablet is dissolving. It is used for the treatment of angina, acute myocardial infarction, severe hypertension, and acute coronary artery spasms.
