It is a combined formulation composed of Paracetamol, Phenylephrine, Diphenhydramine, and Caffeine that is effective in treating several symptoms of the common cold. Paracetamol is an antipyretic and a pain reliever. It inhibits several chemical messengers from the brain responsible for the sensation of pain and causes inflammation. Phenylephrine is a nasal decongestant that opens up the blocked nose by narrowing small blood vessels. Diphenhydramine has antihistamine property which suppresses cough by relieving allergic symptoms. Caffeine is a stimulant that reduces the laziness caused due to cetirizine.
