How Clinviva A Gel works

This drug is made from the combination of two medicines: Clindamycin and Adapalene. Clindamycin is an antibiotic that kills acne-causing bacteria from penetrating the skin. Adaplene is a form of Vitamin A which prevents accumulation of sebum on the skin and works to unblock the pores and exfoliate the outer layer of the skin.

How To Use Clinviva A Gel

  • Strictly follow the doctor's recommended dose and duration.
  • Apply the gel on a clean and dry area.
  • After applying, wash hands with fresh water if hands are not the area affected

What precautions I need to follow while using Clinviva A?

You need to be cautious while applying Clinviva A. Avoid contact with the eyes, lips, angles of the nose, and inside of the mouth. This medication should not be applied to cuts, abrasions, inflamed or reddened skin, and sunburned skin. Wax epilation should not be performed on treated skin, as it may cause skin erosions.

Can I use Clinviva A as a spot treatment (for single pimple)?

It is not a spot treatment and should not be used to treat a single pimple. Clinviva A should be applied to the entire face. Using it everyday can treat your acne.

What should I avoid while using Clinviva A?

Clinviva A makes skin sensitive, so you should avoid spending time in sunlight. If you have to be in sunlight, you should wear sunscreen and wear a hat and clothes that cover the areas treated with Clinviva A.
