Dianext NPM Tablet 10s is a combination medication used to manage chronic neuropathic pain resulting from nerve damage due to conditions such as diabetes, shingles, or spinal cord injuries. This tablet contains three active ingredients: Pregabalin (75mg), Nortriptyline (10mg), and Methylcobalamin (1500mcg). Each component plays a distinct role in alleviating pain and supporting nerve health.
Patients with liver disease should use Dianext NPM Tablet with caution, as Nortriptyline is metabolized in the liver. Your doctor may adjust the dosage or recommend regular liver function tests to monitor liver health.
Pregabalin is excreted through the kidneys, so dose adjustments may be necessary for patients with kidney disease. Kidney function tests should be performed regularly to prevent the accumulation of the drug in the body. Patients with end-stage renal disease or on dialysis should consult their doctor before use.
Alcohol can enhance the sedative effects of Nortriptyline and Pregabalin, increasing drowsiness, dizziness, and risk of falls. Alcohol may further strain liver function, especially in patients with pre-existing liver conditions. Drinking alcohol while taking this medicine may lead to confusion, impaired judgment, and mood changes.
Dianext NPM Tablet can cause dizziness, drowsiness, blurred vision, and reduced alertness. Avoid driving, operating heavy machinery, or engaging in tasks that require full concentration until you know how the medication affects you.
Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to conceive while taking this medicine. Your doctor will assess the potential risks and benefits before recommending this medication during pregnancy. Dianext NPM Tablet should only be used during pregnancy if prescribed by a doctor, as it may harm the unborn baby.
Dianext NPM Tablet 10s may pass into breast milk and could affect the nursing baby. If breastfeeding is necessary, your doctor may suggest an alternative treatment or advise discontinuation of breastfeeding. If taken during breastfeeding, monitor the baby for unusual drowsiness, poor feeding, or irritability.
Pregabalin (75mg): Pregabalin is an anticonvulsant that helps reduce neuropathic pain by modulating calcium channel activity in nerve cells, thereby decreasing the release of certain neurotransmitters involved in pain transmission. Nortriptyline (10mg): Nortriptyline is a tricyclic antidepressant that increases the levels of certain chemical messengers in the brain, which helps regulate mood and reduces pain signals. Methylcobalamin (1500mcg): Methylcobalamin, a form of Vitamin B12, supports nerve health by aiding in the regeneration of damaged nerve cells and improving nerve conduction.
Neuropathic pain is a chronic pain condition resulting from nerve damage due to various factors such as diabetes, infections like shingles, or physical injuries. Symptoms include burning, stabbing, or shooting pain, along with tingling and numbness. Managing this condition often requires medications that target nerve function and alleviate pain.
