This is a combination drug in which Ondansetron is an antiemetic drug that prevents nausea and vomiting while Rabeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor that reduces acid production in the stomach. This pharmaceutical preparation is helpful in treating gastrointestinal and other medical condition symptoms like nausea, GERD, and acid reflux.
It should be used cautiously among patients suffering from liver disease; dose adjustment may required.
It is considered to be safe in patients suffering kidney patient ; but caution should be taken in case of severe kidney disease.
Avoid alcohol consumption as it may exacerbate gastrointestinal irritation; may worsen the condition.
It may cause drowsiness and dizziness; it is better to avoid driving.
Use only if cleraly required that too with doctor's conusltation.
It should used cautiously by motjers breastfed an infant; it may pass through breastmilk.
Ondansetron blocks the signals that induce nausea and vomiting by blocking 5-HT3 receptors in the brain and gastrointestinal tract. Rabeprazole inhibits the hydrogen-potassium ATPase enzyme in the stomach lining which interferes with acid production in the final stage and provides relief from gastric acidity.

It can be caused by various factors, like a stomach infection, irritation from a sharp and foul smell, food poisoning, motion sickness, or pregnancy. Gastric acid condition (like; GERD) is a chronic condition, where stomach acid flow back into the food pipe (esophagus) and cause heartburn and irritation.
