Introduction to Estramin 140mg Capsule

Estramin 140mg Capsule is used in the treatment of cancer of the prostate gland. It may be also used to treat other conditions, as determined by the doctor. It is sometimes used with certain other medicines as part of combination chemotherapy.
Estramustine belongs to a class of anticancer/cytotoxic drugs called antimicrotubule agents. It works by interfering with production of certain proteins which are necessary for tumor cell growth and reproduction. It also increases the estrogen levels, which in turn interferes with prostate cancer by slowing/stopping the growth of cancer cells.

How To Use Estramin 140mg Capsule

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Do not chew, crush or break it. Estramin 140mg Capsule may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time. Avoid Estramin 140mg Capsule with dairy products such as milk, cheese, curd, butter, paneer and ice cream.
