Exelon 6mg Capsule contains Rivastigmine which belongs to the group of medicines called Cholinesterase inhibitors. It is used in adult patients for the treatment of mild to moderately severe Alzheimer’s dementia (progressive disease that destroys memory and other important mental functions).

Your doctor will explain how to take Exelon 6mg Capsule and give you the one most suitable for you. Follow the instructions carefully to get the most benefit. The dose may change from time to time to suit your individual needs. You may take it with food, preferably at night before going to bed.You should not stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor.

It works by increasing the levels of a chemical messenger (acetylcholine) involved in transmmission of nerve signals. This improves memory and thinking.
