Consuming alcohol while taking Isordil 10 Tablet may cause symptoms such as flushing, increased heart beat, nausea, thirst, chest pain and low blood pressure (Disulfiram reaction).
Isordil 10 Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.
Isordil 10 Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Isordil 10 Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Isordil 10 Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Isordil 10 Tablet is recommended.<BR>However, inform your doctor if you have an underlying kidney disease.
Isordil 10 Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Isordil 10 Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
Isordil 10 Tablet is a nitrate. It works by relaxing the blood vessels which decreases the oxygen demand of the heart and reduces its workload. It thus prevents/treats attacks of angina (chest pain).
