How Jardiance Met 5mg/500mg Tablet 10s works
Its formulation has two main constituents Empagliflozin and Metformin. Empagliflozin reduces glucose reabsorption and increases the excretion of glucose in urine which results in decrease of glucose level in the blood. Metformin is a biguanide that works by lowering the production of glucose in the liver, delaying the absorption of glucose in the intestine, and increase the body's sensitivity to insulin.

- Always use the medicine following the doctor's recommendation.
- This medicine can be taken before or after having a meal.
- Do not exceed the dose without doctor's advice.
