Introduction to Neutocid-LS Capsule SR
This medication is used to treat Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). It consists of Rabeprazole and Levosulpiride. Rabeprazole blocks gastric proton pump enzyme (responsible for acid production) and Levosulpiride increase pressure of esophagus sphincter (prevent back flow of gastric acid).
How Neutocid-LS Capsule SR Works?
It consists of Rabeprazole (proton pump inhibitor) and Levosulpiride (prokinetic agent). Rabeprazole blocks gastric proton pump enzyme (responsible for acid production) and Levosulpiride increase pressure of esophagus sphincter (prevent back flow of gastric acid).
How To Use Neutocid-LS Capsule SR
- Take 1 hour earlier to food.
- Swallow the whole capsule with water, do not crush or chew it.
Special Precautions About Neutocid-LS Capsule SR
- For several test like; prolactin test, secretin stimulation test and for tetrahydrocannabinol test, it may cause false positive results So, inform the doctor and lab assistance about administration of this drug.
- To monitor bone density and magnesium level, patiuent should do regular blood test.
- Avoid sitting continuously.

Several studies in adults suggest that treatment with Neutocid-LS may be associated with an increased risk of osteoporosis-related fractures of the hip, wrist or spine. The risk of fracture was increased in patients who received high dose. High dose can mean multiple daily doses, and long-term therapy (a year or longer).
