How Acolate Plus Tablet 10s works

This medicine is made from a combination of four medicines: Ambroxol, Phenylephrine, Paracetamol, and Levocetrizine. Phenylephrine is a nasal decongestant that makes breathing easier by treating swelling and congestion by contracting the blood vessels present in the nasal passages. Ambroxol is a mucolytic agent that relieves congestion in the airways by loosening and thinning mucus. Levocetirizine has anti-histaminic property which treats itching, sneezing, runny nose, and watery eyes by blocking histamine receptors. Paracetamol is an antipyretic and a pain reliever. It inhibits several chemical messengers from the brain responsible for the sensation of pain and causes inflammation.

How To Use Acolate Plus Tablet 10s

  • Strictly follow the dosage and duration as advised by the doctor.
  • Swallow it as a whole with a glass of water; do not crush, break, and chew it.
  • Take it any time before or after food but fix a time daily to take the medicine.

  • Consumption of alcohol should be avoided as it may increase the effect of drowsiness.
