Ascoril Plus Expectorant is a combination cough syrup used to treat productive cough, chest congestion, and breathing difficulties caused by conditions such as bronchitis, asthma, and respiratory infections. It contains Terbutaline (2.5mg), Bromhexine (8mg), and Guaifenesin (100mg), which work together to loosen mucus, clear airways, and relieve cough.
It can deteriorate the patient health and have serious health consequences.
Can cause serious impact on patient with abdominal pan, kidney problems, gastric ulcers and liver problem.
Consumption of alcohol can increase the risk of drowsiness.
This drug is not safe for driving because it can cause drowsiness.
Ascoril Plus is not safe for the pregnant women which causes side effect to child.
Ascoril Plus is not recommended to breastfeeding women due to health impact.
Terbutaline opens up the airways by relaxing the muscles, making it easier to breathe. Bromhexine breaks down thick mucus, making it less sticky and easier to cough out. Guaifenesin increases mucus production, helping clear mucus from the lungs. Menthol soothes throat irritation and reduces coughing. Together, they relieve congestion, reduce cough, and improve breathing.
Productive Cough (Wet Cough) – A cough that produces mucus or phlegm, usually caused by infections, colds, bronchitis, or allergies. Bronchitis – Inflammation of the bronchial tubes, causing cough with mucus, wheezing, and difficulty breathing. Asthma – A chronic condition where the airways become inflamed and narrow, leading to coughing and breathlessness. Pneumonia – A severe lung infection causing cough with yellow/green mucus, fever, and chest pain.
