Introduction to Azilmac 40 MG Tablet 10 S

A prodrug called azilsartan medoxomil is used to treat hypertension. Azilsartan, a selective angiotensin II receptor antagonist in the angiotensin-receptor blocking (ARB) class of medications, is the result of the breakdown of this carboxylic ester.

How Azilmac 40 MG Tablet 10 S works

Azilsartan medoxomil is used in the management of hypertension, or elevated blood pressure, as well as in the prophylaxis of stroke and heart attack. One such angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) is amitriptan medoxomil. By inhibiting the action of a substance that often causes blood vessels to constrict, it relaxes the blood vessels.

How To Use Azilmac 40 MG Tablet 10 S

  • Chew, shatter, or crush AZILSARTAN MEDOXOMIL; instead, swallow it whole with water.
  • Take this medicine as prescribed by your physician, either with or without food.

  • If you have an allergy to "azilsartan medoxomil" or any of the substances in this medication, avoid using it.
  • Let your doctor know if you take any potassium supplements or other prescription or over-the-counter medications.
