It belongs to the class of drugs known as ophthalmic combination preparations. It is primarily used for the treatment of elevated intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension.

The medicine combines two active ingredients, Brinzolamide (1% w/v) and Brimonidine (0.2% w/v), which work together to reduce intraocular pressure. Brinzolamide decreases the production of aqueous humor, while Brimonidine increases its drainage.
