The most common side effects of this medicine include nausea, taste change, constipation, diarrhea, and headache. Consult your doctor If any of these bother you, or get worse, or do not go away. Dizziness might occur as lowering of blood pressure, which get improved with time. It may increase the level of potassium in the blood, hence avoid potassium rich food and supplements.

How Bristan AT Tablet Works?

Bristan AT Tablet is a combination of two blood-pressure lowering medicines: Atenolol and Losartan. Atenolol is a beta blocker which works specifically on the heart to reduce heart rate and lower blood pressure. Losartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB). It works by blocking the hormone angiotensin thereby relaxing blood vessels. Together they allow the blood to flow more smoothly and the heart to pump more efficiently.
