How Bristan AT Tablet Works?
Bristan AT Tablet is a combination of two blood-pressure lowering medicines: Atenolol and Losartan. Atenolol is a beta blocker which works specifically on the heart to reduce heart rate and lower blood pressure. Losartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB). It works by blocking the hormone angiotensin thereby relaxing blood vessels. Together they allow the blood to flow more smoothly and the heart to pump more efficiently.
How To Use Bristan AT Tablet
- Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Bristan AT Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
