Calcito S 100IU Injection is a calcitonin receptor agonist. It acts by suppressing the activity of osteoclasts, cells that cause destruction of bone, thereby strengthening the bones and minimizing the risk of fractures.

What is the difference between calcitriol and Calcito S?

It has been observed that using Calcito S can initially increase bone formation by mild activation of the bone forming cells.
