Calembic 150 mg/225 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Ibandronic Acid and Calcium which treat osteoporosis. Ibandronic Acid is a bisphosphonate. It works by suppressing the activity of osteoclasts, cells that cause destruction of bone. This strengthens the bone and minimizes the risk of fractures. Calcium is a mineral which helps prevent the loss of bone mass.
