This is an effective antibiotic and steroidal preparation effective in the treatment of bacterial eye infections

How Care Eye Drop Works?

This formulation is prepared from the combination of two medicines: Dexamethasone and Chloramphenicol. Dexamethasone is a steroidal preparation that relieves eye redness, itchiness and swelling by blocking the production of prostaglandin (a chemical messenger). Chloramphenicol interferes with protein synthesis and hence plays a crucial role in preventing bacterial replication and growth.

How To Use Care Eye Drop

  • Use regularly 34 times in a day
  • To ensure effectiveness and prevent resistance follow the advised dose and duration
  • Check the label to see “Direction for use”
  • Insert the dropper near the eyes, without touching its orifice
  • Place the medicine in the lower eyelid by gently squeezing the dropper
  • Wipe off excess liquid with a clean tissue

  • Do not touch the dropper tip to any surface to prevent contamination
  • Remove contact lenses before applying the drops and wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting them
