Cartel-H Tablet is a combination of two drugs Telmisartan and Hydrochlorthiazide used to control hypertension (a condition characterized by high blood pressure). It is used generally when the treatment from a single drug is not much effective.

TELMA H can lower blood pressure and thereby reduce the risk of heart diseases like heart attack or stroke.

Cartel-H Tablet has a combination of two drugs. Telmisartan broadens the vessels and allow blood to move freely while Hydrochlorothiazide double up the action by increasing urine output which lead to bring the blood pressure down.

What happens if I take too much of Cartel H?

If you accidentally take too much of Cartel H, you may experience symptoms such as low blood pressure, dizziness, lightheadedness, weakness, vomiting and rapid heartbeat. However, in some cases slow heartbeat, reduced kidney function including kidney failure (e.g., reduced urine output) have also been reported. If you experience any such symptoms, contact your doctor immediately and seek medical help.

Can I come off Cartel H when my blood pressure is under control or normal?

Remember, Cartel H does not cure your hypertension (high blood pressure) but helps normalize it. You should continue taking this medicine even if your blood pressure is controlled. If you stop taking Cartel H, your blood pressure could rise back up again. Generally, blood pressure-lowering medicines are to be taken for the rest of your life. It is important to know that by keeping your blood pressure controlled you are reducing your risk of having a heart attack or a stroke.

What other lifestyle changes should I make while taking Cartel H?

Lifestyle changes play a major role in keeping you healthy if you are taking Cartel H. Avoid taking excess salt in your diet and find ways to reduce or manage stress in your life. What happens if I forget to take Cartel H?
