This combines Diclofenac, Methyl Salicylate, diethylamine, Alcohol, and Menthol. Diclofenac and Methyl Salicylate are NSAIDs, which reduce pain and inflammation by blocking the release of prostaglandins (a chemical messenger). Menthol dilates blood vessels and increases the feeling of coldness, producing an analgesic effect. Menthol is a useful constituent that improves penetration and acts quickly. Alcohol has anaesthetic and analgesic properties which reduce the sensations of emotional and physical pain.
