This drug is made from the combination of two medicines: Clindamycin and Adapalene. Clindamycin is an antibiotic that kills acne-causing bacteria from penetrating the skin. Adaplene is a form of Vitamin A which prevents accumulation of sebum on the skin and works to unblock the pores and exfoliate the outer layer of the skin.

Dee-C makes skin sensitive, so you should avoid spending time in sunlight. If you have to be in sunlight, you should wear sunscreen and wear a hat and clothes that cover the areas treated with Dee-C. You should avoid weather extremes such as wind and cold, as this may cause irritation to your skin. Some skin products, such as harsh soaps, astringents, cosmetics that have strong skin drying effects, should be avoided. In addition, products containing high levels of alcohol should be avoided, as they may further dry or irritate your skin.
No, do not overuse Dee-C. It can cause over-absorption of the medicine into the body and cause severe diarrhea. If you are experiencing increased severity of your symptoms, please consult your doctor for re-evaluation.
You need to be cautious while applying Dee-C. Avoid contact with the eyes, lips, angles of the nose, and inside of the mouth. This medication should not be applied to cuts, abrasions, inflamed or reddened skin, and sunburned skin. Wax epilation should not be performed on treated skin, as it may cause skin erosions.
It may take up to 2-3 weeks before your symptoms improve. Dee-C may take some time to deliver significant results. Use the medicine as directed and let your doctor know if your symptoms do not improve or get worse.
It is not a spot treatment and should not be used to treat a single pimple. Dee-C should be applied to the entire face. Using it everyday can treat your acne.
