The most common side effects of this medicine include dizziness, drowsiness, headache, nausea and unusual beating of the heart (palpitations). Most side effects disappear when you get used to the medicine. If they bother you or won&rsquot go away, talk to your doctor. To lower the chance of dizziness, rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down. It may also cause your blood pressure to go too low. Some side effects may be serious and need urgent medical attention. Your doctor may be able to help with ways of preventing or reducing side effects.
If you are pregnant, thinking about becoming pregnant or breastfeeding, ask your doctor before using this medicine. Also talk to your doctor before taking it if have heart failure, liver disease or kidney disease and if you are having eye surgery for a cataract. Your blood pressure will need to be checked regularly while using this medicine.
How Doxacard 4 Tablet works
Doxacard 4 Tablet is an alpha-blocker. It lowers blood pressure by relaxing blood vessels. It also relaxes the muscles around the bladder exit and prostate, which makes it easier to urinate.
How To Use Doxacard 4 Tablet
- Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Doxacard 4 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Doxacard 4 Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Doxacard 4 Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Doxacard 4 Tablet is recommended.<BR>However, talk to your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease.
Doxacard 4 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Doxacard 4 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.<BR>Use of Doxacard 4 Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.
