Introduction to

  • It is a topical medication containing a combination of Gabapentin, Diclofenac, and Methyl Salicylate.
  • It is used for the management of pain and inflammation associated with musculoskeletal conditions such as arthritis, muscle strains, sprains, and neuropathic pain.
  • This ointment provides localized relief by reducing pain, inflammation, and discomfort.

Gabapentin: Gabapentin is primarily used to treat neuropathic pain. It works by modulating the activity of neurotransmitters in the brain and spinal cord, thereby reducing the sensation of pain. Diclofenac: Diclofenac is an NSAID that reduces inflammation and pain by inhibiting the enzyme cyclooxygenase (COX), which is involved in the production of prostaglandins, substances that cause inflammation, pain, and fever. Methyl Salicylate: Methyl Salicylate is a counterirritant that works by causing mild irritation to the skin, which helps to distract the body from deeper musculoskeletal pain.

  • Dosage: Apply the ointment as directed by your healthcare provider, typically 2-3 times daily.
  • Administration: Clean and dry the affected area before applying the ointment.
  • Apply a small amount of Dubinor Ointment to the affected area.
  • Gently massage the ointment into the skin until fully absorbed.
  • Wash your hands after applying the ointment unless your hands are the area being treated.
  • Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, or mucous membranes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.

  • Inform your doctor if you have any known allergies to Gabapentin, Diclofenac, Methyl Salicylate, or any other ingredients in the ointment.
  • Avoid applying the ointment to broken, irritated, or infected skin.

  • Provides effective relief from localized pain and inflammation.
  • Combines the benefits of pain modulation, anti-inflammatory action, and counterirritation for comprehensive pain relief.
  • Offers targeted treatment with fewer systemic side effects compared to oral medications.

  • Skin irritation or redness
  • Burning or stinging sensation
  • Allergic reactions (rare)

  • If you miss a dose, apply it as soon as you remember.
  • If it is almost time for your next scheduled application, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule.
  • Do not apply extra ointment to make up for the missed dose.
