How Emfozen Injection works
Emfozen Injection is an antibiotic. It works by stopping the action of a bacterial enzyme called DNA-gyrase. This prevents the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing, thereby killing them.

Emfozen Injection is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Emfozen Injection is recommended.<BR>However, inform your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease.
Emfozen Injection should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Emfozen Injection may be needed. Please consult your doctor.<BR>Limited information is available on the use of Emfozen Injection in these patients. No dose adjustment is recommended in patients with mild to moderate liver disease.
