How Ergo-Forse 0.125mg Tablet works
The mechanism of action of the ergot alkaloid methylergometrine is to directly stimulate contractions of the uterus. Because the uterus contracts more forcefully and regularly as a result of this activity, bleeding is reduced.
How To Use Ergo-Forse 0.125mg Tablet
- Dosage: Adhere to the amount that your physician has advised.
- Administration: Take the tablet by mouth, either with meal or without meal.
- As prescribed by the doctor, it is usually taken two to four times a day for a few days after childbirth.
Special Precautions About Ergo-Forse 0.125mg Tablet
- Tell your doctor if you are breastfeeding a baby or have ever had hypertension, liver or kidney disease, cardiovascular disease, or hypertension.
- Because methylergometrine, it can cause severe uterine contractions, it should not be used while pregnant.
