Faronix Tablet is an antibiotic medicine that is primarily used in the treatment of infections of the lungs and urinary tract. Additionally, it may also be used to treat skin and gynecological infections. It is usually used for infections that did not resolve with other antibiotics.
Faronix Tablet is the only medicine of its class that can be taken orally (by mouth). It may be taken with or without food. The dose and duration of treatment depend upon the severity of the infection and how you respond to the medicine. Take it at the same time each day and finish the complete course, even if you feel better. If you stop taking this medicine too early then the infection may return or worsen.
Let your doctor know about all other medicines you may be taking, as they may affect, or be affected by this medicine.

Consuming alcohol with Faronix Tablet does not cause any harmful side effects.
It is not known whether Faronix Tablet alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.
Faronix Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.
Faronix Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
