Fusiwal 2% Ointment 10gm

Fusiwal Cream is an antibiotic. It is used in the treatment of bacterial skin infections such as impetigo and infected dermatitis. It relieves the symptoms of the infection by stopping the further growth of the causative microorganisms.

Fucidin cream belongs to a group of medicines called antibiotics. The antibiotic in this product is called fusidic acid. Fucidin cream works by killing germs (bacteria) that cause infections. It is used to treat skin infections such as those caused by bacteria called Staphylococcus aureus.

How do you use Fucidin cream and ointment? Apply the cream or ointment to the infected area of skin three or four times a day, as directed by your doctor. Your doctor will usually ask you to use the cream or ointment for 7 to 14 days. Wash your hands before applying the cream or ointment.

Sodium fusidate is often prescribed to treat bone infections caused by this germ (bacterium). It works by stopping the growth of the germs. Sodium fusidate is also prescribed for other infections caused by staphylococcal germs, such as some skin infections.
