Before using this medicine you should tell your doctor if you have a blockage in your bowel, upset stomach or your bowel movements have been different for more than two weeks. Some medicines and some foods can interfere with the way this medicine works so discuss this with your doctor to make sure you are safe. You should not normally take other treatments for constipation while using this medicine and should also avoid dairy products at the same time. Iglax Suspension is not generally recommended if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Iglax Suspension is a laxative. It works by increasing the movement of the intestines, thereby facilitating the passage of stool. It also helps clean out the intestines prior to medical procedures or examinations.
- Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Iglax Suspension is to be taken empty stomach.
- Iglax Suspension is a laxative that stimulates bowel movements. It works by increasing the movement of the intestines, this helps empty your bowels and relieve constipation. It takes 6 to 12 hours to work and you may need several doses, but you should not take it every day for more than 5 days. This is a short-term treatment and should only be used when needed. It relieves the pain and discomfort caused due to constipation and improves your quality of life. Eat more high-fiber foods including fruit and vegetables and drink plenty of water to prevent constipation from happening.

Iglax Suspension is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Iglax Suspension may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.<BR>Patients may experience dizziness and/or syncope due to a vasovagal response (e.g. to abdominal spasm). If patients experience abdominal spasm they should avoid driving.
There is limited information available on the use of Iglax Suspension in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor.<BR>Use of Iglax Suspension is generally not advised if there is associated vomiting as the loss of body water can be harmful to kidney function.
