Introduction to Lerin Tablet
It contains methylergometrine, a drug used to manage and prevent excessive bleeding during childbirth, also known as postpartum haemorrhage. How Lerin Tablet Works?
The mechanism of action of the ergot alkaloid methylergometrine is to directly stimulate contractions of the uterus. Because the uterus contracts more forcefully and regularly as a result of this activity, bleeding is reduced.
How To Use Lerin Tablet
- Dosage: Adhere to the amount that your physician has advised.
- Administration: Take the tablet by mouth, either with meal or without meal.
- As prescribed by the doctor, it is usually taken two to four times a day for a few days after childbirth.
Special Precautions About Lerin Tablet
- Tell your doctor if you are breastfeeding a baby or have ever had hypertension, liver or kidney disease, cardiovascular disease, or hypertension.
- Because methylergometrine, it can cause severe uterine contractions, it should not be used while pregnant.
