This formulation is prepared from the combination of two medicines which is very effective in preventing stroke, heart attack, and angina
This medicine reduces the levels of bad cholesterol and triglycerides and reduces the formation of blood clots
This medicine is a combination of Atorvastatin and Aspirin. Atorvastatin reduces cholesterol levels by reducing LDL and triglycerides by inhibiting the HMG-CoA reductase enzyme and reduces the risk of cardiovascular disease. Aspirin is an NSAID that has anti-platelet action, preventing platelets from sticking together and preventing the formation of harmful blood clots. In this way, this medicine prevents the blockage of blood vessels and eliminates the risk of heart attack, stroke, and angina.
A heart attack happens when there is reduced oxygen supply to the heart due to decrease in blood flow which is caused by blockage of blood vessels, ultimately leading to heart muscle damage. Symptoms include sharp chest pain, shortness of breath, and dizziness. It may even lead to death in some cases. A stroke occurs when blood flow to the brain is interrupted, either by a clot or damaged blood vessel, leading to brain damage.
