It is a steroid. This medicine is a combination used to treat eye infections with inflammation. It works by killing the bacteria causing the infection, which in turn helps relieve redness, itching, and swelling in the eye.
It contains two ingredients: Loteprednol etabonate, a steroid that reduces redness and swelling in the eye, and Tobramycin, an antibiotic that stops bacterial growth by preventing them from making essential proteins.
Follow your doctors instructions for how much and how long to use it. Wash your hands before and after using it. If it accidentally gets into your ears, nose, or mouth, rinse with water. Let your doctor know if youre allergic to any of the ingredients or taking other medications. After using this medicine, avoid driving or operating heavy machinery right away, as it may cause blurred vision.

It is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.<BR>To reduce the amount of Lotetob Eye Drop that reaches the breastmilk, place pressure over the corner of the eye for 1 minute or more, then remove the excess solution with an absorbent tissue.
It may cause blurring of your vision for a short time just after its use. Do not drive until your vision is clear.

Lotetob Eye Drop is a combination of two medicines: Loteprednol etabonate and Tobramycin.
