Introduction to Malarce Tablet

Malarce Tablet is a prescription medicine. It is to be taken with food and take it at a fixed time regularly. Take the medicine in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. How Malarce Tablet works

Malarce Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Pyrimethamine and Sulfamethoxazole which treat malaria. Pyrimethamine is an antiparasitic medicine which works by increasing the levels of haeme in the blood, a substance toxic to the malarial parasite. This kills the parasite and stops the infection from spreading. Sulfamethoxazole is an antibiotic which stops the bacteria from producing folic acid, a nutrient required for bacterial multiplication.

  • Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Malarce Tablet is to be taken with food.
