Meftal-Spas Tablet is a combined drug composed of two medicines i.e., Mefenamic Acid and Dicyclomine. Mefenamic Acid is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug that acts by inhibiting the release of certain chemical messengers responsible for inflammation and abdominal pain hence; blocking those chemicals provides relief from these symptoms. Dicyclomine is an anticholinergic that shows its activity by relaxing the muscles present in the gut and stomach.
