It is an antibiotic drug effective in treating bacterial infections in the nose, throat, urinary tract, ear, lungs, chest, teeth, and skin.
The medicinal has bacteria-killing properties that develop resistance to other therapies and thus also help in treating tuberculosis that does not seem to be treated with any other treatment procedure.
It is an antibiotic in which active ingredients Clavulanic acid and Amoxycillin are present. Amoxycillin prevents bacteria from forming a protective covering which is necessary for the survival of the bacteria. Clavulanic acid serves a special purpose by inhibiting the enzyme (beta-lactamase). The combination of clavulanic acid and amoxicillin has proven effective in treating many types of infections.
