Montelukast falls in the category of anti-leukotriene drugs which showcases its activity by blocking the actions of a chemical messenger “leukotriene”. This aids in preventing and treating asthmatic and allergic symptoms by reducing inflammation. Bilastine selectively blocks histamine H1 blockers and prevents histamine from exhibiting symptoms like sneezing itching, watery eyes and gives relief from overall allergic reactions.
