This combination of drug is used for the treatment of allergic symptoms like congestion, runny nose, sneezing, watery eyes. It can block the action of histamine that cause the allergic reactions. 

Fexofenadine is selectively antagonizing H1 receptors on cell that can surfaces across different organ systems that can affect the inflammatory mediators. Montelukast is leukoteriene receptor antagonist which can treat the hives, allergic rhinitis and treating asthma.
