How Ofloxibact D 0.3%/0.1% w/v Eye Drop 10ml works
It is a combination of Ofloxacin and Dexamethasone in which Ofloxacin has antibacterial properties which prevent the cells of the bacteria from dividing and preparing and lead to the ultimate killing of the bacteria. Dexamethasone is a steroidal preparation that relieves eye redness, itchiness, and swelling by blocking the production of prostaglandin (a chemical messenger).
How To Use Ofloxibact D 0.3%/0.1% w/v Eye Drop 10ml
- It should be used only in the affected eye in a specific dose and duration.
- Ensure your hands are washed and clean before applying the medicine.
- Check the label carefully before use.
- Use it regularly twice or thrice or as per your doctor's prescription.
- This is for external use only.
- Hold the dropper close to the eye, avoid touching it.
Special Precautions for Ofloxibact D 0.3%/0.1% w/v Eye Drop 10ml
- Do not skip or leave the tretament course in-between even if you feel better as it may worsen the situation.
- Terminating it or stopping it too early may worsen the situation.
