It is the combination of two medicines effective in controlling high blood pressure. This medicine reduces blood pressure by relaxing the blood vessels and easily pumps blood through the heart to reach the whole body. This reduces the risk of heart attack or stroke. 

How Olmibid AM 20mg/5mg Tablet works

This is a combined pharmaceutical formulation containing Olmesartan medoxomil and Amlodipine. Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker and Olmesartan medoxomil works to block Angiotensin receptors that block the action of angiotensin II resulting in relaxation and widen the blood vessels. These drugs together make blood pumping through the heart more efficient by relaxing the blood vessels and work successfully in effectively reducing high blood pressure.

What are the serious side effects of Olmibid AM?

The serious side effects of Olmibid AM include skin rash or itchiness, painful joints, fast heart beat, shortness of breath or tightness in the chest. Serious side effects may also include aching, tender or weak muscles (not caused by exercise), and swelling of the hands, feet or ankles. Olmibid AM may also cause symptoms that may indicate high potassium levels in the blood, such as nausea, diarrhea, muscle weakness and change in heart rhythm.
