Olmo M 20mg/25mg Tablet is a combination of two blood-pressure lowering medicines: Olmesartan Medoxomil and Metoprolol Succinate. Olmesartan Medoxomil is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB). It works by blocking the hormone angiotensin thereby relaxing blood vessels. Metoprolol Succinate is a beta blocker which works specifically on the heart to reduce heart rate and lower blood pressure. Together they allow the blood to flow more smoothly and the heart to pump more efficiently.
- Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Olmo M 20mg/25mg Tablet is to be taken with food.
- To prevent stomach upset take the medicine after food.
- Take the medicine in dose and duration as recommended by health professional.
- Regular monitoring of kidney functioning, blood sugar level, blood pressure, urea or electrolyte functioning is essential during the treatment.
