Introduction to

It is a combination of faropenem and clavulanic acid that is used for the treatment of various types of bacterial infections in the skin, throat, ear, nose, teeth, and lungs.

Faropenem inhibits the synthesis of bacterial cell wall by binding to penicillin-binding proteins, causing bacterial death after cell lysis and effectively treating infections. Clavulanic Acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor that blocks the action of enzymes produced by bacteria to inactivate Faropenem.

  • Take it in dose and duration prescribed your doctor.
  • Take it with or without the food.

  • If you are allergic to any medicaments and any other antibiotics, inform your Doctor.
  • If you have any medical conditions, inform your Doctor.
  • Avoid this medicine if you have any rare hereditary problems of Lapp lactase deficiency, galactose intolerance or glucose-galactose malabsorption.

  • Treat vaious Bacterial infections.

  • Nausea

  • Indigestion

  • Use the medicine as you remember to take.
  • If the next dose is near then Skip the missed Dose.

  • Cephalosporin class of drugs (cefaclor, cefadroxil, cefixime, cefpodoxime, etc.)
  • Diuretics (furosemide)
