Paristin C Eye Drop is a combination of two antibiotics: Chloramphenicol and Sulphacetamide/Sulfacetamide which treat eye infections. Chloramphenicol stops bacterial growth by inhibiting synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Sulphacetamide/Sulfacetamide works by preventing the bacteria from producing folic acid, a nutrient required for bacterial multiplication. Together, they treat your infection effectively.
