Introduction to Predzy Eye Drop

It is a combination medication belonging to the class of drugs known as ophthalmic corticosteroids and antibiotics. It is used to treat and manage inflammation and bacterial infections in the eyes.

It contains Gatifloxacin (an antibiotic) and Prednisolone (a corticosteroid). Gatifloxacin fights bacterial infections, while Prednisolone reduces inflammation in the eyes.

Use it in dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor.

How Predzy Eye Drop works

Predzy Eye Drop is a combination of two medicines. Gatifloxacin is an antibiotic that works by stopping the action of a bacterial enzyme called DNA-gyrase. This prevents the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing, thereby killing them. Prednisolone is a steroid which works by blocking the production of certain chemical messengers in the body that cause inflammation (redness and swelling) and allergies. How To Use Predzy Eye Drop

This medicine is for external use only. Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off extra liquid.
